Standard Coverage Options

• Partial Wrap: Typically includes 3 sides — Driver side, Passenger side, and either the Front or Back.

• Full Wrap: Includes all sides — Driver side, Passenger side, Front, and Back. (Roof is included but optional).

Coverage Changes: Clients may switch from a Partial to a Full Wrap at any time during the design process; any adjustments to the final price will be discussed beforehand.

Other Coverage Options

• Minimal Coverage: Best for spot graphics, decals, or simple door lettering that doesn't require a wrap.

• Custom Layouts: Any vehicle or trailer with additional sides, panels, or dimensions beyond a standard setup. (May require a custom template; see template section.)

Manual review is required for projects that fall outside of standard vehicle shapes or coverage.

‡(Some detailed designs may require additional time or assets, which can affect the final cost. The example shown features a different design on each side and over 50 assets, each requiring individual staging, creation, or generation. Detailed lighting, shadows, color gradients, and other advanced effects are also used.)

Definitions & Project Terms

What is an "Asset"?

† An asset is any visual design element—excluding standard text, contact information, QR codes, basic icons, and the client’s primary logo—that is custom created, sourced from a stock image website, or AI-generated.

• What Counts: Stock imagery, complex graphics, or elements requiring visual development and meaningful integration regardless if they are provided by the client or not.

• What Does Not Count: Elements requiring minimal placement only—such as small logos, badges, or simple icons.

• Discretion: Pricing adjustments for client-provided assets are applied at the designer’s discretion. Additional assets may be added to any tier for an additional cost, (or at no additional cost) on a case-by-case basis.

Project Policies

• Pricing Coverage: Pricing includes time spent designing, communicating with the client, sending proofs, researching and developing concepts and assets, as well as any other time spent on project development.

• Upgrades: The client may upgrade to Classic or Premium at any time during the design process. Any adjustments to price will be discussed beforehand.

• Unsure? If a client is unsure of which option to select, a design brief will be sent to determine which option best suits their needs.

• Gallery: For more example pictures, please refer to our vehicle wrap gallery page.

Vehicle Templates

Every project requires an accurate vehicle template to ensure the design fits the real-world dimensions. Please consult with the designer before purchasing a template on your own.

Template Sourcing

• Provided by Client or Designer: No additional fee if the client provides a usable template or if one is already available in the designer’s library.

• Purchase Template (+$40): If a template is unavailable, it can be sourced (typically from The Bad Wrap) for a $35 reimbursement plus a $5 service fee for locating, purchasing, and credit card processing.

Note: Purchased templates are jointly owned by the client and designer and can be provided as a separate file upon request.

• Custom Template Needed (Starting at $100): If no template is available, the designer can create a custom template from provided photos or other images. Required for unique layouts, buses, or food trucks where pre-made templates are unavailable.

Note: Pricing is flexible for vehicles with straightforward dimensions or those requiring only minor modifications to an existing template.

Note: Vehicles with significant cutouts, extra windows, or specialized doors may incur additional fees.

Project Deliverables

Standard Setup

• Flattened Print-Ready Files (Included in all tiers): You will receive flattened or rasterized ready-to-print files at full resolution. Files are provided at full-scale or 10th-scale. Pint shop is responsible for setting up paneling, bleed, overlap & cut paths.

• Editable Files (+$75): You will receive the original layered design files with smart objects and vector assets. Files are provided as-is and require the print shop to handle final print setup.

Full Setup

Professional technical setup of individual panels in PDF, vector, or other applicable formats. All setups include a standard 1” overlap and 2” bleed (unless specified otherwise). Cut files include outlines with bleed.

• Full Print / Cut Setup ($100): Includes full print and/or cut setup w/ paneling, bleed, overlap & cut lines for standard vehicles & designs.

• Complex Print / Cut Setup (Starting at $125): Includes setup w/ paneling, bleed, overlap & cut lines for complex multi-panel projects, seamless transition designs and/or intricate cut files. Final costs for extensive setups vary based on the project.

Technical Specifications:

File Formats: Deliverables may include TIFF, PSD, PSB, PDF, EPS, AI, or other industry-standard formats.

Resolution: Standard is 150 ppi for full-scale and 720 ppi for 1/10th-scale. Higher resolutions are available upon request (note: larger files may impact software compatibility).

Archiving: All project files are saved by the designer for use on any future projects.

Custom Quotes: Please request a quote below for the setup of simple print-and-cut jobs or designs requiring minimal setup.

Design Process & Revisions

• Initial Design Concepts: All pricing includes up to two initial design concepts. Often, a single concept is all that’s needed; however, a second concept may be created if the first does not fully meet your vision.

• Required Feedback: Clear feedback is necessary after each stage of the process. Work on a second concept or subsequent revisions will not begin until feedback on the previous version has been received.

• Variations: Multiple variations of the same concept (e.g., color swaps or minor layout shifts) are included in the base cost.

• Unlimited Minor Revisions: Each concept or variation includes unlimited minor revisions at no additional cost to ensure the final result meets your expectations.

• Major Changes: Significant design shifts or "starting over" after a concept has been developed may need to be discussed separately and could incur additional fees.

• Additional Concepts: If further unique concepts are needed beyond the initial two, they are available for $50 each.

Communication & Collaboration

Open and timely communication is the key to a successful wrap design.

• Communication Style: Email and text are the preferred methods for communication. These channels allow for quick proofing and a clear record of design decisions.

• Project Momentum: To keep your project on schedule, prompt responses to concepts and revision drafts are greatly appreciated.

• Final Sign-off: Clear communication is especially important during the final approval stage. Once a design is approved and moved into the "Setup" phase for print-ready files, any further changes may incur additional fees.

Payment Terms

• Deposit: A 50% deposit of the total project cost is required before any design work begins. This deposit covers the initial research, creation of design concepts, and the sourcing/purchase of any necessary vehicle templates.

• Final Balance: The remaining balance is due in full before the final print-ready design files are delivered.

• Accepted Payment Methods: Payment is accepted via all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, Cash App, and Zelle.

• Flexible Financing: PayPal Pay Later is also available (including Pay in 4 or Monthly Pay options, where applicable), allowing you to manage your project budget more effectively.

Fleet & Multi-Vehicle Pricing

• Discounted Rates: Pricing for fleets or additional vehicles using an existing design is offered at a lower cost than the original project. The exact rate may vary depending on the type and total number of vehicles being added.

• Cohesive Branding: This option is ideal for businesses looking to maintain a consistent look across multiple assets while saving on design fees.

• Get a Custom Quote: Because every fleet is unique, please fill out the form below with your vehicle details to receive a personalized quote for your project.

Logo & Branding Services

• Custom Logo Design: If you do not have an existing logo for your wrap, a custom logo can be designed for an additional fee to ensure your brand stands out on the road.

• Logo Vectorization & Recreation: To ensure the highest print quality, all provided logos must be in a high-resolution or vector format. If the provided files are low-quality or pixelated, they may need to be recreated or vectorized for an additional fee.

• Get a Custom Quote: Please fill out the form below to receive a personalized quote for logo creation or file recreation.
